Title: Downsized Toledo RC Show
Post by: Paul Smith on April 10, 2021, 08:35:59 AM
The old show came to an end in 2020.  Or maybe you could say 2019 because 2020 was the first non-show since its opening.

But it came back as a basic swap meet and sales event.  I liked it, maybe even better.  All the usual Control Line people were there.  The RC static display was gone, which made room for the vendor tables to ALL be in the main arena.  No more walking through the dark aisle above.

Randy Ritch made a business decision to not attend, but his pre-orders are being shipping to a receiver in Macomb County who will give out the (paid) fuel to his customers.

Personally, my haul was the same as always.

The organizers were satisfied and they plan to go again 2022, hopefully with the dark cloud gone.

Paul, glad to hear "a good time was had by all" at Toledo Swap.  I keep telling you, that someone should have kicked Sirrrrrr Isaac Brock in the cahonas . Then we " Imperial Colonials" could have attended by loosing the war of 1812. All events in life have their consequences.

Ken, are you trapped in Ontario?
