Well Friday after I got home it was dry out and get warm. Saturday was trying to get in the mood to do anything. Did do laundry and work on the lawn mower. Also visited with neighbor. Every time I thought of putting plane in the Ford the wind came up. Sunday was church, special service with retired leader of our oganization doing a program about what he is doing since retiring. He is working more than when was working. Phone call during service which didn't sit well with me. After service finally called my daughter to see what she wanted. Seems a tree I have been wanting to remove had finally came down. Nothing like a little help from the wind. No I didn't pray for this to happen. Do helped get the street cleared for traffic with grandaughter wanting to know when we were leaving for the opening day at the track. With help from new Son-in-law, his brother, daughter's friend, daughter, neighbor and grand kids almost had street clear when city workers show up. They shoved every thing off the street and Willow an I headed for Lakeside Speedway. New owners have made some changes to the track, which I think were for the good. All heats were run. Had B-features in B-modified and A-modified. Short intermission and then factory stock feature followed with B-mod feature. Caution on lap 8 for guys that still don't know how to drive dirt with another car blowing an engine right under the flagstand. Ready to start the finish of the b-mod and the flagman grabbed the yellow and checker. It was raining.
Anyway to keep model planes in the post. I think my grandaugher Willow will be helping me fly once in a while. Especially if she likes racing.
