Don Still's Stuka (Build)
« on: December 15, 2009, 05:19:00 PM »
Hello Pilots
It has been a while sense my last build post so i took some pictures today
to show you what i've been working on.
It is a RSM Stuka, Designed just like Don Still's original. You can build it
in two ways.  First, You can build it like the original for OLD TIME Stunt
legal .  Second, You can build it with an modern powerplant which will
make the fuselage a little longer but it is still legal for classic and pro
events.  Here are a few pictures.  I will post more as i build.  Bryan H.

Oh Yeah, Thanks Richard

The engine is an O.S. la .25   Will be using Brodaks 3.50 once Metal Tank set-up
in the Uni-Flo method.  Covering will be Silkspan and Dope with Paint from
Warbirds , RLM 70/75/65 or somthing like that.

Im going to try to keep her light and straight.  Bryan

Stuka.........do you have a picture of a finished model? I had an old veteran buddy[he passed away a couple months ago] that drew an amazing picture on a brown paper sack........I don't know where he got the idea, or the talent, but he wrote this at the bottom of the page: junker's stuka 87B........does that mean anything to anyone? I might post a picture or scan it depending on how it turns out. It might be rather hard to see, it's in pencil.

Here's an ad. You can find pictures on the kit manufacturer's site or all over the old magazines (some new) including the original articles - a very popular and effective OTS and Classic plane.
