Relearning things.

I stated earlier on another post I was not going flying today.  But, after patching a few holes in the covering and redoing the needle valve assembly on the Fox .25, I put the planes in the Ford and went to the circle.   Fired up the 4 stroke on the Cardinette that hasn't been in the air since the last time I attended a stunt clinic in Springfield MO.  Took a little slossing of fuel to get it all limbered up.   Pulled it thru after hooking up the battery and flipped the prop.  It was running.   Did not fly it as the wind was so gusty.   Did fly the SR with the redone needle assembly on the Fox.   Amazing how I forget things.   The silicon glue had come loose, so I found a nylon washer and reamed it out to where I could put it on the needle valve body opposite of where I have a fibre washer.   The engine now starts by hand with no problems and runs great inverted.  Only did two flights because of the turbulence, but it was so great to go inverted for lap after lap without the engine quitting.  Got a little dizzy about lap 20 of inverted flying.   But, I am happy now.  By the way the tank is 1/4 inch above the center line of the engine.

Good that you got out to fly and tweak. Yessir....going that opposite direction for a spell can get ya' dizzed.
Nothing like relearning.
I got out too today to put my repaired Prowler up for some trim flights. It was really windy so I was conservative. Messed with some minor tweaks. Good times.
