Well the plastic cardboard is free,we get it at the local grocery store, they save all there old signs and packing material and just give it to us.All stores have this stuff and just throw it away.Glue is 25 cent a stick at any craft store.put a couple peices of packaging tape on the leading edges an your ready to fly.....When building these your imagination is the limit.Yes my wife flies all the time.We live in ohio and fly off our 32 foot flight deck all winter long and in the summer when im to lazy to mow the grass...Jimmy

As a former employ of a corrogated paper plant, I laugh when I hear people say card board.  It is corrogated paper or plastic.  Now I am nit picking.  Plane looks great, hope it flies as well as it looks. R%%%% H^^

I like the "hip pockets" trim idea. Ty will probably steal your graphics and put it on his new stunter, "Super Goombah".  LL~ Steve

What are the details on the fuselage construction. Looks like ply doublers on the outside of coro-plast sides, but what fills the gap in between to make it wide enough for the motor mounts?  Balsa, foam??

Are you aware of Chuck Felton's cardboard modeling site?

http://www.feltondesignanddata.com/index.html

Check the "Construction" and "C/L Model Photos" pages (lots of pics on the photos page)
I built a Blue Pants as a kid. Wish I still had it. Might even learn to fly it.

When I was a kid, people used to talk about "paste board" boxes.
