I got a note from the publisher of Control Line World and in it was a friendly reminder.

Note:
January 2011 issue will begin printing tomorrow. If you know someone that has not sent in their renewal, please remind them to do so...

Best 25 bucks you will spend all year for a lot of good control line info.

I would also remind everyone to subscribe to Flying Models. It is the only magazine that covers all modeling activites, and has excellent building articles. We sure don't want to lose FM.

Wynn,

You are right, you cannot renew on the Brodak web site. You can initially subscribe but NOT renew. It would be nice if they would make that an option. The renewal form is really a simple fill in the blank and I would scan it and attach it here BUT I have already sent mine in. Maybe some other procrastinator has a blank form and will attach an image to this thread.

The bad news is that the subscription rate has gone up to $30 but that still is a value for an ALL control line publication.

I renewed mine on the website, I just added the word renewal after my name. Yes I had to fill out the whole thing again. I called Sandy for something else and was informed they are fixing it to include Renewals and Gift Subscriptions.

CLW is my favorite mag. The AMA mag is not but I did keep the last issue. The increase to $30.00 has slowed me down. $7.50 per copy.  I am always slow on AMA because I dislike them. Didn't in the old days though. They give us nothing for our money. So it being hard times I will today renew AMA because it is reguired for contest flying then CLW but I will drop PAMPA. Thats my 2 cents.

Chuck,
With the download option for PAMPA. it is the cheapest and all the pictures are in color. Just download the PDF file and you have it.
