Title: Don's racing wheels ????
Post by: Leester on October 14, 2006, 05:21:08 PM
My FM magazine construction article on the Miss BJ calls for 1 3/4" Don's racing wheels by Taffinder. The article is almost 20 years old so, does anyone know if these are still made?? or what would be a substitution for them. The wheel pants have a 1/2" wide wheel cut out.  Thanks

You might post this question in the Racing or Speed forums. I have a few of various sizes, and wouldn't use them on a stunter. Solid brass hub with rubber tire molded or bonded on, so pretty heavy. There are a bunch of options. http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-29.html

I kinda like the ProLites from Hanger 9 (Horizon link).   #^ Steve

You might try Glenn Lee...   He does a wheel similiar to Don's.   I think Melvin at MBS may carry them.
