Does anyone look at the listings in the Vendors Corner?
« on: February 24, 2010, 07:10:18 AM »
I always wondered how many modelers look in the Vendors Corner to see what is being offered.

I have found out that if you have something that interests them they will look.

On December 19, 2009 I posted my latest idea in the Vendors Corner under U/Tronics Control section, "Universal U/Tronics Control Handle."

Now 67 days later there have been over 1,000 views of my Universal U/Tronics Control Handle information.  I think I can safely say that if you post something of interest on this forum modelers will read it.

I must have done everything right as there have been 0 replies or comments.

I look at it often, but it seems like some of them are rarely looked at or updated by the vendors themselves. This comment definitely does not apply to all of them, some are good at getting back with information. I can see where it could be a great additional sales tool for any of them.

I go there when I want something.  Also I go there when I get ready to recommend something to someone.

If I'm looking for something that my fav site doesn't offer, I go there to look around.  I too find that some of the vendors don't update their sites.  Makes me wonder why they have them.  I like the Vendors Corner over-all though.  Its come in useful more than once.
