Zuriel,
Thank you for taking the time to point the thread out.
I had seen that one, but it has been modified :)
Trying to find some un-modified pictures!
Thanks again!

Two clouds would suffice...

This one was built by Steve Millet.

He'll want the inside of the cowl next you'll see... :)
-
Allan thanks, thats a great looking model.
I am pretty sure our grand poobah aka the cobbler kid has built a nova or novar also.

Actually I need to see the details concerning the tuned pipe mount.

Hehe I was messing with PJ he was giving me grief about the specificness of the picturesrequested.
That was the most obtuse thing I could think of quickly. :)

This one was on some Australian website. CLAMF or vicstunt probably.

Aaron,
If you check with J. Randall I think you'll find the Nova/Novar was a cooperative project between Billy and Randy. I could be all wet, and Randy will tell me fersure, but I believe the wing was a Billy and the rest Randy...
Ward-O :o

Hey Ward long time no see.
I think you are correct, I just wanted to see what the profile of thethe plane looked like.
Maybe I can find one of Randy's old catalogs with all the side views.

I''ll try to post pics of my SV-11 "Olympian". Pipe tunnel was done according to plans. I'm sure a similar set-up would work in the Novar. Note two piece LG mount allowing pipe to fit in-between. 8)

Pete, thanks for the pictures.
Sorry like I said above I was picking on PJ who was picking on me.
We have made many piped planes I was just picking back with him after the comments about my specificness.

Oh well, should have known. Maybe someone else while get some benefits from the pics I posted. 8)

Yes I hope so.
BTW how did that plane fly?
I remember seeing the plans listed but not any pictures of that plane.
Do you have any completed pictures?
Aaron

Hasn't flown yet...stuck to my paint stand awaiting finishing touches and clear coat. No doubt in my military mind that it will fly great. This is it prior to painting. 8)

Its all good - Aarons on my facebook list - so Its just a bit of fun between friends - didnt know you wanted a side profile photo.
Incidently that other Novar is actually # 2 that Joe built - mostly identical but with more white on the fuse side wall and top to allow for better viewing for the Judges. - I always liked that second one.
I also enjoyed seeing those Pipe tunnel photos - Always good to see construction pics from all parties.
are you all sorted now Aaron?
-
I doubt I will ever be all sorted. :)
I do appreciate all the replies, I also am happy to see the construction pictures and see that plane it is a neat one.

Aaron,
This is my new Novar!
Very nice plane with 10 flights with a well friendly Stalker 66RE. Weight is 1.700g (60OZ) and use a 12x7.2 3-blade prop ( Kaz Minato). This plane has wing and tail movable for transportation (foam wing with cap strips). Thanks Randy for the nice plane!
Best Regards,
Luiz- Mococa/São Paulo- Brasil.
-
Luiz that looks great.
Was it built to plans or modified some?
-
Dear Aaron,
This plane was built from Randy Smith plan. I purchase the Novar plan direct with him in Brodak fly-in 2008.
Regards,
Luiz.
-
Luiz, another great looking plane. H^^

Hi PJ,
After 35 years of having Aaron around, I can guarantee his "sorted" condition will never be "complete"! LL~ LL~
But, he is my #1 son and if he can get time to get with the program he might actually get pretty good at handle wiggleing!
A new SV 31 is "almost" finished, the Satana having a bit of a problem with a gravity surge in a really strange attitude........... so an "new one" is needed while the Satana is repaired.
