DOC's latest power unit
« on: March 08, 2022, 02:39:14 PM »
Have been seeing these on the bay and decided I would experiment with the weather being like it is and me being physically challenged I purchase one of these.  It is electric power for paper airplanes.   Have did a test run and on a very quick 1 second charge it ran full power for over 5 minutes.  too even longer to run the battery down to a stop of the propellor.  there is a warning about the prop as there is no switch.  I'am thinking living room tether plane. Time will tell. D>K

I went to the Bay and found a unit called Power Up.  A bit of false advertising because they call it "RC". Which of course it isn't. I take it you haven't flown it yet.  It talks of airplane included.  Is it just a flat sheet of paper?  Looking forward to flight report.  Only The Doc could come up with something this goofy and fun looking.   LL~

The one I won only had power unit, battery holder for charging, instructions and the box it came in.  The weather has kept me from flying it. D>K
