Title: Doc Passen's Generix kits value?
Post by: Terry Caron on January 13, 2016, 09:38:42 PM
I have a pair of Doc's Viperette semi-kits (fuselage & tail feathers for foam wings).
Anyone have an idea what they might be worth?

Thanks

Terry

Terry,

I have no idea what Viperrete short kits are worth.

I wonder what a Doc's Noblurr kit is worth?

De,
I paid $55 for a No Blurr kit with foam wings about 7 years ago. That is the last one that I have heard of on the market. My wood is so good that I would probably pay up to $75 if I wanted another one.

Are there any pictures of what these planes look like?

Doc Passen ran a great home business from his big stone farmhouse in Jasonville Indiana.  He offered over 30 kit designs mostly for combat and stunt.  He sold at near-giveaway prices to support Control Line.

Unfortunately his business, including tools, plans and templates was lost in a fire.  Any complete Generix kit would be a nice collectible.  I have an Equalizer built from one of his kits.

I'll bet Phil could cut cores for that. it would probably sell easier and for more money if you had the cores for the wing. Might be worth investing in.
