Came in from the shop to get ready to go play in the traffic and my "Equalizer" kit was waiting for me.  Immediately opened it.  These guys are spoiling me with the laser cutting and the plans.  Thanks to Mike for another great kit. #^ #^ #^ H^^

Great isn't it? I have a Jerkline coming and I can't wait y1 I've read some posts talking about the "golden age" of C/L but you know I think we are now living in the golden age of C/L, the variety and quality of the kits, engines and parts we have now are so much better, no more fuzzy hard die crunched wood, no more buying an engine and sending it away to be reworked(although some still do that) Just go online and everything we need is a click away, yup this is the golden age of C/L.  y1 #^

The only thing that keeps NOW from being the Golden Age of CL is as Dwayne said "just go on line".

In the Golden Age of CL you only had to go to your local Hobby Shop to get everything you needed.

Now you go on line, order what you need and then WAIT for it to arrive.

If it is coming from overseas, hope it isn't picked to be opened and inspected by US Department of Homeland Security.

That's a very good point, I still go to my LHS to buy balsa, glue, fuel and other odds and ends, they have even started stocking fox and sig bellcranks but there's nothing like going online and buying a set ribs or other specific part.
