Ward's stuff
« on: August 13, 2017, 02:35:08 PM »
Eric and I went to visit Ward VanDuzer's wife Judy this afternoon. Ward passed late last year and Judy is ready to rid herself of his modeling stuff.
Ward sold off a BUNCH of hi zoot PA stuff when he got vertigo pretty bad, but what remains can be a treasure trove to lots of us. Some stuff will be FREE (magazines)....some very inexpensive and some market price.
A couple of FREE items are a bunch of photos....mostly from some early 90's Nats, and some NJ pics from before I got there. Also several from VSC's. I hope these got to someone that can sort them and make some sense.
Also, a WALL of model magazines.
We will be sorting stuff over the next few weeks.
Please let me know if you want to photos or the books...you pay freight.
Thanks

Good on you, P'b'dy and Eric.  That's what friends are for.  I'm sure Judy will be grateful.

I'm so glad you are able to help Ward's wife in this way. I think you will also be doing a great service for those interested too.

My blush is that the magazines will go to recycle.....too heavy and too many, but the pictures should be of interest....

Put the magazines in a box and send them "media mail".
I may be wrong but I doubt it.

If no one has yet requested it, I'd love to have his railroad hat with fish hook.

Hi Curt
Didn't see those.....I'll ask.
I did take a Tampa Bay Line Flyers shirt and a VSC 2008 shirt, both XL....free (pay freight if shipped).
Have fun!

I would love the ama mags from 1987. I could look more specific if needed. But 12 would be fine if he had those. RIP Ward.

Rich,
Not asking for a "search and Find" BUT , if you happen to come across anything pertaining to Ward's WDZ, "Wee Duper Zilch", which I have and want to restore to original condition (tissue covering faded and as brittle as an egg shell), pls advise.

Thx,   H^^
