Buddies @ Brodaks
« on: June 14, 2012, 09:12:05 AM »
It was good to hear from Bob N Brad out at Brodaks. Wish I was there to share in the fun and visit with old friends. Attached is my newest toy that has occupied most of my free time, but I'm thinking I need to make the Brodak trip next year.
regards,

If you do a little bit every day it will get done, or you can do it tomorrow.

Well Lee I was working...
The art work was done by a guy I went to high school with, Max Thomas.
I need to ride my bike out to the field, you going to be there this weekend?

Now the bike,  a mean looking machine, is finished, you need a take-a-part plane to carry on it.     The bike looks great and the daughter says I can't have a bike anymore. H^^

Rick, I will be there in the am (10ish) if the weather is decent.  Need to give the carrier plane a shake down, but need a fairly calm day for that.

I think you should ride that machine out west to the Golden State Stunt Champs or the Northwest Regionals.  You'll see good scenery, and we'll have good times.

Really cool bike there Rick. The stator went bad in mine on wednesday, got the parts yesterday, and about have it back together. Good physical therapy for my after heart surgery. My son brought me his impact wrench which really helped with the primary drive nuts.

Miss you guys...

Finally got up the nerve to fly first round of PA with the reverse Saito in the Latency today, ended up in 3rd place for the first round which I was happy with. My nerves were shot after the fingers verses prop incident and putting the Shoestring in inverted on the first official didn't help. Fingers will heal and Shoestring can easily be fixed but two stupid moves in a row sure messed with my head..

On the positave side the FJ-4's were a big hit on the carrier circle and Joe Gilbert's flying ability really showed what they were capable of. The reverse running Saito is running fantastic, we flew it last Sunday after the prop incident then it sat till today.. All I did was fuel and fly, didn't touch the needle and didn't need to.

Brodak week seems to go really fast because of all the friends and excitement going on, tomorrow is the last day and seems like we just got here.
