LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~It is a catchy phrase, but I spent a few winters in Minnesota and spring does not come until the rest of the country heats up. This could be May 30 at the latest. HB~>

This was predicted as a 1"-2" wintry mixture (snow, rain, sleet)...you will observe Mr. Snowman says it's 6" of heavy, wet snow.  The yard had been about clear, maybe 1/2" on the ground. [sigh]

Yes, Spring in MN can be counted on in May.

Yep I got a couple of pics from Tom Wilk showing his street in Deluthe(is that right).  But, if it were not for winter we would not have building seasons instead of build days like they do here in the south.  DOC Holliday

Duluth.  Even further north than I am.

L-o-o-n-g building season, short flying season...end result is my dozens of airplanes hanging on my walls.  Too much building, not enough crashing-time.

Ray,

What kind of rack is that in the right of the picture that you have the 1/2a planes in?  Is it something that is actually for some other use or did you make it or what?

Thanks,
Kreth

Kreth, I made that rack from 1/2" PVC specifically to hold my combat wings.  Theory was, I could take the whole thing loaded with planes off the wall and to the field.  Uh-uh, didn't work that way for a number of reasons.  But it does keep them out of the way.

Here's another view.
