Is any one else having difficulty with attachments? I have been trying for the last hour to generate a post with a picture (both .png and Jpeg) with no success. Help please.

When you select an attachment doesn't a dialog box pop up for you to upload the file? That dialog box is not appearing for me.

Worked for me.

This is also a test.

I guess it worked for me too. In a reply on another thread, I was trying to place the picture in the text and it wasn't working when I tried previewing the post. Maybe the means to embed attachments in the text has changed. Can someone help me with that?

The only way to place a picture in the text is like this (https://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=52673.0;attach=295583;image) Click on quote and see code in the text
I guess my memory is faulty. I thought I had posted pictures embedded in my post's text in my thread about my FW 190 project. I revisited that thread and discovered that all of the pictures were at the end of the post. In hind site I should have done that when I thought I was having a problem and avoided an unnecessary post. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure that the picture will NEVER show up in "preview" mode. At least, it never has for me. You're sure the file size is within limit of 1k kb? That's the usual problem. Resize and compress...no reason to be over 100kb. Jpeg is supposed to be the most efficient format, so stick with that! I have had problems if I type in "jpeg" instead of "jpg", which is normally automatic. D>K Steve
