Different classes of competition

It was mentioned in the carrier section that the NCS site is not working.  There are other events that unless you go to their face book site you don't know what is happening.  Why don't people use the sections that Sparky has on this forum for the different events/activities.  Of course with my physical shape  I don't compete but love to see what is happening.   In Model Aviation I see a listing for F2D combat.  Other wise I would not have known about it.

When the NW Skyraiders had our website, I was the web'ster, and I didn't mind doing it. The club decided that it was too expensive to pay for the hosting, so our site was taken down. I'd guess that is the problem with the NCS site, especially if there is also a page on facebook. I have no idea how much a FB page for a club costs (if anything), but I'm sure it's a lot less. As we age, numbers dwindle, membership fees collected don't stretch as far, so things change, whether we like it or not. Mostly not.  Steve
