I found a set of plans at a swap meet for a t win engine stunter designed and drawn by Dick. The plans say Model Aviation and the plane is called the T.C. Two. Would anyone know the date of this? There was no date on the plans. Thanks Bob

Go to the AMA site and look in the old articles section.

Bob, the issue was 12/80, the 1980 Nats special issue for MA. If you build one go as light as you can. I built one, powered it first with two McCoy .19's and then recently change the set up to two Brodak .25's. Still flys like a pig. Sure looks good in the air if you like "Low and slow"
The attached picture was taken during a visit from a CL modeler from Sweden.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty darn sure the "TC Two" was based very closely on the old Midwest 48" Warbird series wing. Pointy leading edge, thin airfoil for the size. Not an ideal baseline for a satisfying Stunter.

Thanks all for the info. I just like to know when something was firts done. I have reduced the plans to 55% and will build it as an all sheet balsa 1/2A size. I like nothing better than to play with sizes of different designs. My last was a profile 1/2A Stuntwagon. Just have to be different and have fun. My normal beginner pattern is take off, wingover ,inside loops and abrubt landing so I just build and fly for my enjoyment.
Thanks again for everyons input

Black Hawk Models is testing a new model for production in late November ... it is a "Mini Stunt Rocket" for 1/2A engines. The design was suggested by Walt Musciano himself.
