For your amusement
« on: May 15, 2008, 08:01:51 AM »
The Fermilab Barnstormers had their monthly meeting yesterday. The meeting was shortened to approximately 4 minutes due to the excellent flying conditions. I managed 2 C/L and 2 R/C (dark side) flights, plus a bench run before dusk. As I had my little Canon 570 along, videos seemed appropriate:

Alan's E-Nobler with his latest 'home-wound' motor.

Alan 'Bi-Slobbing'.

My 2nd P-Force flight of the year. Listen closely for all the comments!

Enjoy,
Fred

The wind was perfectly behaving during my two flights, but it really came up at the end of Fred's flight  ~^---you can hear it in the microphone. As I said it was a "Fred Wind". I didn't realize that Fred's flight was coming out so tiny. Unfortunately in video mode the camera only digitally zooms, so you lose some resolution.
