Hello Fellow's, I am looking for a small supplier of various size dental rubber bands that orthidontest's use. In particular 1/4" to 3/8" sizes.
I'm not needing more that 25-50 of each size. I plan to use them for keepers on the stocking - panty hose type air filters.
Does anyone have some suggestions ? Thanks, Gil

#^ #^ #^The rubber sounds good. You might want to try small wire ties. <= <=

Small O-Rings from the local hardware store work well and last longer than rubber bands. #^

We also use these bands to hold expandable broadheads in place when hunting, you might try Walgreen's or some other pharmacy in your area.

O'rings should be available at any bearing supply house. They come in about any size wanted. You can even size them youself with a loc-tite thats made for this purpose.

I got an assortment kit someplace for a few bucks. Maybe a nut & bolt store, or hardware store. Just be sure they're Neoprene, so fuel won't eat them up (like rubberbands). I know I can go into our local fastener store and buy one of any size I want, cheap. Check around your area. Don't overlook plumbing stores, if that's all you can find. H^^ Steve

The dental bands are silicone, so they don't get eaten up, either (unless you're running a gasser or a diesel). Too bad they don't come in the #64 size... they'd be nice for holding on profile fuel tanks!
