Has anyone done business with these people?   They list an electric CL that only needs a battery and finishing materials. ???

Oh no............John.............going to the "dark side".............not you too...........I would have never believed it.  I thought we were the "glo-generation" and were willing to stand and fight for the real control line hobby.  ............  Oh well, I guess it's another man down !       ~^     VD~     H^^

Eventually all will come into the light. It is inevitable and you will all be assimilated. Shade of the Borg there.

Or not?

I had the idea the gran kids might like it if there is no mess to clean up.  I will have my IC planes for when batteries go dead. D>K

Electrons are for firing spark plugs on gas and oil burners.

The excitement of the unexpected "bench start" of an electric is part of the fun.

More seriously, electrics do have some pleasant features.  Though I understand crashes can be expensive, sometimes ruining the motor, ESC and battery, all in one go.  IC engines tend to survive.

Check any serious stunt contest and notice how many are electrics and how many are I.C.  I have never experienced a motor over-run or an errant needle setting with my electrics.

If it is the Ring Rat, you can buy that from the US manufacturer :
