Hey Denny read your article again in CLW and enjoyed reading about building a eFP.
You said it would be a good grab and go fly plane.

How did it turn out and was it a G&G fly plane?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul
Yes it was a pretty good flyer, I got a couple trophies with it, but flying it in Classic at the NATs was a bridge too far!  Seemed to handle the wind well, flew it in some gawdawful turbulence in Carmicheals one year and it did not let me down.

Size-wise it has a little longer fuse than a Ringmaster, so it was easy to toss in the car and go. Mine turned out a little nose heavy so I added a slug of lead to the tail.  Never got to fly it on Spectra, which would have improved things some...

Not yet, NOW I added some pix...

The nose was kinda snug so I ended up "exposing" the ESC on the bottom; cools good that way too.  If I was building another I think I'd finish off the nose into a spinner

It looks Fancy. 🤣
Yea I think you mention that in the article about putting a real nose on it.

Pin in front, magnet on back hatch matches with screw in front face of top block.  Lost the top hatch once (at NATs of course) next time would use magnets on both sides.

EDIT: uploaded Assembly Manual for the Brodak Electric Conversion kit #BH-1941. STEPs 17-19 show the tab & magnets for the battery hatch.
