Title: Demented model maker, turned kite-addict
Post by: Shultzie on October 31, 2006, 10:55:08 AM
Very sad day indeed....
Here is a photo of a dear modeling friend...(one of Boeing's finest model makers ever...lost his mind, and turned into a kite-flyin addict.
Pray for him....here is a shot of his beloved wife Carol, standing behind him to catch him when he falls.....

NO, GANG OF GRUNTS n1
This is not this ol' DONLEE in the photo....although this gifted modelmaker is shown with his beloved wife, Carol (who shares the first name of my cfo-ceo-n and my misseeeemaaassssa!
His real name is Jim....but I will continue to hold secret his last name to protect his family from further shame.

For those who know him and care for him, simply call him "MURDOCK!"
Again, pray for  the release of his kite-demons, so that he may return to his beloved modeling......
Humm? Better save a prayer for this old stunt-grunt...who still is enslaved by the devilmaster of the winds... %^
BOOOO! HAPPY-HAPPY-JOY-JOY...ITS HAPPYHOLLOWEEENIE DAY! #^
Trick or treat---give THEM somethin' gooooodtoeat!

Another horrific image....showing the effects of too many years of sniffing airbrush fumes.
Sadly this is the real DonLee hours before he was released from his studio prison at the Boeing Wind Tunnel model shop.

You still look the same, Don.
Just a little less blond hair a blowin' in the wind.
Ted brought some kites a while back ('91) to use after we did some test flying for VSC. It was fun. I haven't touched one since!

That second picture is the Don I remember. Haven't changed a bit. Do you still have the metalflake Chipmunk? Coolest finish I ever saw.
