Delete a comment?

Just curious but can you delete a comment that you have made in a thread? I thought I saw that option a wile back but I don't see it anywhere anymore.

I saw you could modify the comment but how do you actually delete or remove it?

When you click on the modify click at the end of your comments and backspace until everything is gone, the click on "save changes" or what ever it says. I'll bet alot of people have Motorman on there ignore list also !!

It will just say "the message body was left empty" and doesn't save it.

get ahold of the forum moderator and ask to have it deleted.

You could delete it all and put a period. Then it'll save it

Although you can delete the text of your comment, you can't remove the fact that you made a comment. Best you can do on your own is to "modify", put any word or punctuation mark, and then save it.   Steve

Some of the forums, including the "OPEN" forum have a button that allows you to delete and completely remove one of your own posts. Other forum sections do not have the option.
