I've been cleaning around my shop and I realize that I have a lot of decal sheets from various models I have built over the years.
Some of these are from kits that are no longer available. Not being excessively computer literate I have to ask, would it be possible to set up a online photo gallery to store hi res scans of these so that others building the planes from plans could download them. A lot of us have access to cheap home scanners.
We all must have one or 20 of these sheets laying around getting damaged and with a scan you can touch them up change colors or cut and paste what you need.
Just asking.

EXCELLANT IDEA!!!! y1 y1 I wouldn't know what to do with them but I'm willing to learn. A file with membership access would be neat. They have a section like this on the Yahoo 1/2A web site for Cox and Scientific decals, and such. Gets my vote.
Type at you later,

I think the Barton site has such a thread on their site for decals and patches. Remember the patches we used to be able to buy and wear on our jackets and shirts.

There is or should be a place for stuff like this on the CAD Users Forum, tho decals isn't the original intent. It wouldn't hurt to stick some there, but it might be best to keep one decal sheet (kit decals) on one page, so you can make a sensible title for the file...like "Ringmaster S-1.jpg" or similar.
