I would like to thank John Jordan and the Dayton Buzzen Buzzards for a great time Sunday. I can't believe that only six flyer's would show up. What a beautiful Sunday, 0 to 5 mph winds, sunny and mid 70s. And not to mention the great chili and the good contest hot dogs. And gas was only $3.14 a gal. Roger passes on his thanks also. Next year will be bigger I'm sure, so don't be discouraged John, keep it going. Sorry no pictures, I forgot my camera.
Blessings

I noticed that earlier in the year when I was back in Cincinnati. The gas prices are significantly less than here in the NW. We are at $ 3.50-3.60/gal. Enjoy it while it lasts which is probably until Nov 4th.

I wish I could have been there.
Any results from the Dayton Contest.

Last week I was going through Oklahoma City and gas was $2.93. YES I felt I had won the lottery. My tank was almost completely empty from driving from Amarillo. Somedays your a BUG, somedays your a windshield.

I quit worrying about gas prices several years ago. I still can see the look on my brothers face when in 70 we drove into Chicago from the NATS site and he stopped for gas. It was over a dollar a gallon back then. DOC Holliday

Hi Patrick,
I'll give you the results as I remember them. (There were so many contestents that I may have trouble!)
Allen Goff won expert with Roger Wildman in second.
I sqweeked out a win in advanced only two points ahead of Ray Kinder from Columbus with Bob Campbell third and John from Cincy fourth. (My sincere apologies to John as I can't remember how to spell his last name. ) He flew intermediate in Columbus but graciously entered advanced in Dayton because of the lack of flyers. As far as I'm concerned that makes him a winner of the whole day!
We missed you, Patrick! (And a whole bunch of other guuys, too!!!!!)
In case you're wondering, the hand is a bit better, but not much!
Blessings,
Will
