Sparky,
I sure hope you are going to get enough cooling air over the battery and the motor.

What is your cooling scheme for the motor and battery?  I see what it is for the ESC.

If you took the battery and submersed it in a bucket of water it would run the same tempter as if it were in open air.
The heat is generated by friction of electron molecules, The motor cools from residual air behind the spinner and will exit in a some louvers in the cover.

Many RC guys are experiencing tempters between 140 and 160 with no problem. We are not taxing the batteries like they are either. All you have to do is look at a RC electric plane and find no special cooling built in to figure out maybe we are over amped about cooling. If I am wrong (bet I am not) I will post the results.

I have learned this from the Viper tests. I have small openings and no special deflections to cool anything and the temps are way low, rather cool  really.

Thanks for the info.  I'm awaiting your results.

Great videos Sparky. Its nice to see someone else struggle with finding stuff in the shop.  LL~

I will lay something down turn around and it's gone.  HB~>

I was hoping to fly the TLAR at Brodaks seeing how you offered it. But I am going to miss this year.

Maybe see ya at WKSI.  H^^

I'm not old and forgetful like you fellers.....my shop is full of little gremlins that like to hide the very thing I need, at the very instant I need it!  Then when I don't need it...they put it right back where I left it! ;D
