Day 2 of WKSI- MORE PHOTOS ADDED.... DaDaDats all Folks!
« on: August 19, 2012, 09:23:48 PM »
Here are a few photos.. it is late for me and I have to go back to the rock pile in the morning.

It was a fun contests. Last night 21 one folks went out to dinner at a catfish place. It was like a cluttered up Cracker Barrel. What were the chances that right over our table hung a very old control model. Still had the engine in it too.

I did not have any competition in intermediate so I booted myself over to the advance circle. I got some great coaching and help. I think my first flight was good, but had a over run. My second flight was OK, but wish I had my first one to do over. Oh well, my goal was to have fun and learn as much as I could.
Weather again was great, low temps and flyable.
Sorry I did not get placements. You will have to wait for Allen's write up in SN's.
I did get the Opps Award for spanking my ARF Nobler in N30.

I will add a few photos and will resize and post more tomorrow.

Looks like the plane above your dinner table has an "inverted" camo scheme. ;D

 Thanks for the pics! y1

(This is the only time I seen Dan sitting! He is the hardest flying pilot on the field!)

And a few more

Robert and the Pilot Choice Award. (Got my vote)

Sparky you can put that plane in the back of my car any day!

And Louis broke out the Grin Reaper for anyone brave enough to take it for a spin.
