Dave Whitmans Buster I think?

Good evening fellow modelers.
I am really new to the forums, by the way thanks for the info on the Magician.
To make a long story short, I just got back in to control line flying with my 70 yr old Father.
Back in 1983 or so I was young at the time flying 1/2a . So one Christmas my father bought me a Buster kit.
I put the plane together about 8 years ago, and I gave it back to my dad. Instead of flying the model it ended up as a wall mount. Well I  don't have the directions anymore for the plane. I need to know how much weight I need to put in the outer wing tip. any info would be great.
Also I was looking for a 25 to 35 size flying wing aka"t Square" well that what my dad called it.
The plane is about 50 or so years old, It was my dads when he was a kid, Its coming out of retirement. LOL
Just in case it comes apart in the air, LOL I would like to replace it if the need arises.

It's not clear to me what "Buster" you have, but I believe Brodak now makes the Buster kit that Carl Goldberg's company used to make. Not sure if it's 100% authentic in structure, but it's bound to be lighter!

The 'Square " would possibly be the "T" Square.
Do not remember who kitted it. see one on Ebay from time to time.
Mom had one in the late 50s early 60s.

Sig had a Buster kit.
Solid wing .15 size for goodyear racing. Have seen it on Brodack.

Garl Goldberg had a Buster kit.
Built up wing .35 size for sport/stunt.  have seen it on Brodack.

If I remember right, the tip weight fo the Goldberg Buster was a rolled up empty glue tube, of course that was when they were made of lead, I suppose now you'd have to use 3 aluminum ones. Ha Ha!!!!

Actually I think starting out with 1/2 Oz would be about right, that's what I used on my Shoestring.

I will start out with a 1/2 ounce of weight.
There are some really neat planes on the plan Website.
 never tried Scratch Building. How difficult is it?
I have only built from kits. Maybe I should give it a shot.
