Dave Day of the UK developed and maintained a web site that included included extensive listings of old time and classic designs. That web site went down some time ago. Does anybody know if somebody picked up that information or know where those listings are still available?

That is a really neat site. It has a really good article on John Coasby who designed the Taurus which with a very good running Anderson Spitfire won the VSC ignition event 3 years in a row. I still have the plane in its original silk span and dope finish and it still looks good after 100's of flights. It really is a solid design and my favorite all time control line plane.

There are a lot of nuggets buried in that site, and some rather bizarre rants (even by stunt standards) against unnamed conspiracies. I am glad someone saved this off, it's fascinating.
