Installed the flaps on wing, then installed wing into fuse, afterward there is a "spring action" around neutral when working the controls.
This action was not there before I installed the wing into the fuse, as I worked the controls to check for freedom of movement.
What do I need to look for, and how do y'all suggest that I fix it??
Sure do want to say thanks to Sparky for this forum, and to all y'all for your help...

something is misaligned. you have not glued them on yet right? I would take them all off and install them one at at time to see which one is in a twist.
-
so the flaps were installed, and they all worked easily with no restriction before ,, then you installed the wing, then the only thing I can think of is that the flap horn must be rubbing on the fuse somewhere,,
i am assuming you do not have the pushrod or elevator connected as of yet
-
check that the horn is centered and not rubbing on the fuse as it comes out

I have egg on my face, fellows I didn't say that it is in a profile fuse, PLEASE don't hold my lack of communication skills against me.. And again THANKS...sometime I fail to say thanks loud enough... y1

The wing doesn't know where it is if the controles are not hooked up. You said it was OK before the wing was installed I bet you have the pushrosd installed and it is binding HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>
-
.....or you got some glue in the horn or hinge?

Fellow's after Church, and Noon meal, I went to the shop looking at the "bind", I think that it was binding when the B/C went thru the arc, I opened the push rod exit and "Bingo" it ain't binding!!!
Sure do thank all y'all for the help/advice... y1

Sometimes, spray paint gets into the flap/elevator wire bushings (brass tube) and makes them bind. Results in a panic until careful inspection and some scraping with a sharp knife sets everything right.
