A construction article for Leon Shulman's Lethal Lucy was published in the Dec 52 issue of Air Trails. This is an OTS legal design and has appeared at least once at VSC. It has flaps and a comparatively thin airfoil that is probably about 8% thick (counting the flaps) or just less than 10% without the flaps. Straight wing with tapered flaps. About a 53 inch span with something like 620 sq inches. Long nose for when it appeared (9 inches between prop driver and LE) and a really short tail (just less than 11.5 inches HL to HL). Wing mounted gear and should have good takeoff and landing characteristics. The plans show a long shaft Fox 59. The several Lethal Lucy models that I have seen had to be flown extremely fast to do a credible OTS pattern. With the right power and if kept reasonably light, the airplane can be flown and in the hands of a good pilot, it can be made to perform fairly well, though that thin airfoil does not help very much except maybe handling the wind better than some other OTS ships of its day.. However, it is definitely not one for an inexperienced pilot if doing well in competition is a goal.
