I know several people make venturi out of delrin or other plastic type material but I would like to get some metal ones - just because I like the looks. Does anyone make these to order if I supply the measurements?

Hi Bill,
I have gotten metal venturi from Randy Smith, Leonard Neumann, Jim lee, and Byron Barker over the years. Most use delrin for ease and cost, I *think*.
Probably anyone who makes then would do them in metal but they will cost more, I'm sure. AS to ones who "only" use metal, I don't know.
Merry Christmas!

I made one for an OSFP .15 once outta the end of my exact-o knife. Did it in my drill press. A drill press is just a vertical lathe LL~ ;D

I've used a piece of brass pipe with 3/8 OD and 9/32(or .281) ID I put it in a drill and filed part of it to fit the engine then flared the other end with a dremil.

Heck, I've made venturis out of Maple. Works fine, as the venturi is just a means of metering the airflow. Did use the "vertical lathe" or Drill Press to you, John. How's that for thinking totally outside the box?

I guess I am partial, but have several of Jim Lee's venturi's of different sizes for my LA engines. Even have a thrust washer for Green Head K&B .35 Jim did for me. H^^

Scott Riese makes some of the best alloy venturi's available.

Do any of these guys accept paypal (I'm in the UK) for payment as I need one for my os 35s. I don't mind if its plastic or metal just as long as it includes the NVA
