Curtis is a true Gentleman in our hobby. I am very happy for Curtis! I do believe it is coming up on the 60th Anniversary of Curtis' 1st NATS in just a couple of years. y1 I know of no one who has been of more help to any and all who need it.
Maybe as a tribute to Curtis when his "60th" NATS anniversay rolls around (2009??) some of those that can attend the VSC could build his Skydancer, a unique, and good flying 1960 design.

Curtis is a wonderful choice and I applaud his award.
Thanks also to Will, Howard, Watt, and all the Metrolina folks for hosting two great events every year. The education I receive, plus the camaraderie of all, is well worth the trip.
Hope to see you in 2008. #^ #^

Congrats to Curtis, and thank you to all that worked on the contest and made it such a great show. The only complaint I heard was uttered by Banjock, who wished it could be a weeklong affair like Brodaks! ;D

PS, William, do you know the dates for the spring Huntersville contest?

PS, William, do you know the dates for the spring Huntersville contest?
Steve,
I was told they always plan these for the week after the Charlotte NASCAR race. Thus, the dates I've penciled in for 2008 are May 31 - June 1 and October 18 - 19.
Take care,
Ron

Agreeing with EVERYONE, the Huntersville contest was one of the best I've ever attended.
Interesting and friendly people, great weather, my favorite seafood restaurant - it just doesn't get much better.
Can't wait till the next one!!!
