Current Score Sheets For All Stunt Categories
« on: August 29, 2011, 06:10:14 PM »
Looking for current score sheets for ALL Stunt Categories.
I have checked the Pampa site where I would normally look only to see OTS and Beginner available for download.

Thank you,

Lynn

And last time I looked, the OTS sheet on the PAMPA site wasn't for the current PAMPA OTS rules.  Here are some .pdfs:

Thank you! This is terrific and very much appreciated.  I will post these on the RMA website Stunt section.
Have a good night.

OOPS!! The score sheet has take off and level flight scored as only one maneuver. The rules say these are two separate maneuvers. No place on the sheet for a level flight score. Note, in the interest of simplicity, PAMPA made a rule change long ago to score the two laps following the takeoff for the level flight score. If this wasn't done, there would be the take off lap, two laps, the two laps judged and then two more before starting the climb, thus the change. Yeah, I know one lap between etc. etc.

You had me scared for a minute.  Here's what the rulebook says:

13.1. Takeoff. A correct takeoff consists of the model rolling smoothly along the ground for a distance of not less than 4.5 meters (14.8 feet), but not greater than one quarter of a lap. The model then rises smoothly into the air with a gradual climb and a smooth level-off to normal flight level over the point at which the model commenced its ground roll. The model continues on for two (2) smooth laps of normal level flight to point of original level-off.
Maximum 40 points. Minimum 10 points.
Errors: The model bounces or becomes airborne too soon, or too late. Takeoff, climb or level-off is not gradual and is smooth. Level-off occurs too soon, or too late. Level-off and normal flight level are not within a height of 1.2—1.8 meters (3.9—5.9 feet).
13.2. Reverse Wingovers (One Required)...

You are correct.  The PAMPA Web site even has the current scoresheet posted, although there is a decoy or two to keep you from finding it.  Now I gotta fix my program.  I reckon I could just change K to 2 as an interim fix.  I wonder if we have to reallocate the trophies from last week's contest or just have the guys come back and refly it.

Not that I'm ever likely to manage to get over to the US to fly any OTS, but I noticed the pattern is not the same as the one we fly over in the UK (We fly an extra manoeuvre). I was wondering if the way the common manoeuvres are flown is different as well. In the UK all 8's are flown "Lazy" in OTS rather than the normal F2B way and the Sq loop covers a quarter of a lap. Is it the same over there?

Just curious...
