Jorge,
Which Crusader and which Saber are you looking for.
A number of CL stunt designs have appeared with the Crusader name. Here are a few:
Claire Sieverling, Flying Models, Oct 59, Plans available from AMA plans service.
Charles Mackey, Flying Models, Mar 60, Plans available from the AMA plans service.
Harold Price, American Modeler, Jan/Feb 69, Plans available from the AMA plans service
Vic Macaluso, American Aircraft Modeler, Jun 71, Plans should be available from the AMA plans service.
Vic Macaluso with his Crusader 2, Flying Models, Oct 94, Plans should be available from Flying Models.
There are a lot of Sabers. Which one are you looking for?

Nope! This is the famous one.

I'm hung up on Lampione's F-86 Saber that won the '69 NATS. It was published in Flying Models and the plans are still available there (online, even). Another great looking jet is RJ's Hawker Hunter. It's Classic legit, for a ST .60 or similar, and is kitted by RSM. y1 Steve

Jorge,
There was also a British kit called the Crusader! kitted by Mercury models a 56" stunter from 1960

Hi Jorge,
The *Jet Fighter* "F-8 Crusader" has been done by Vic Macaluso probably the best as to semi scale looks. It has the high wing with anhedral and is available as either a 35-40 size (1970) or a 40-60 Piped plane (early '90s). It looks the best from a semi scale standpoint and both are excellent flyingf machines! The Harold Price F-8 Crusader is a fine flying plane, but only the fuselage resembles an actual F-8 (the wing was from his Valkyrie, IIRC).
I would say the best flying F-86 Sabre Semi Scale done so far is Bob "Mr. 69 NATS Champione" Lampione's winning Sabre. Originially a Fox 35 powered plane but MUCH better with a 40-46.
Mr. Trostle's post has where to find plans.

Or, just sit tight and wait as Walter Umland has intentions to kit it.

That is correct, Sir! I had forgotten that Walter is planning to kit it. His kits are always exceptional.

If you have ever worked around the F8 on a flight deck you wouldn't be so fond of the darn things S?P

Randy, the Mercury Crusader does fly well, mine was underpowered with an ancient Fox 35, went a lot better with a younger OS 35s, a 40 would have been better!
Do you have a genuine Mercury kit? I still have the kit, built mine from a kit I made of the kit! (if you see what I mean?) using better quality wood, and a removable wing. I think the kit I have is from the early 70's judging by the box. I made a mold for the canopy the one with the kit was awful! So if you want a half decent canopy let me know! There is a picture of my crusader on the web shortly before it died! Broken elevator pushrod, made the mistake of using an R/C link!!! Go to medwaymfc.co.uk then gallery, then Fulston Manor air ambulance display, its the red/silver/white model. My club is mainly R/C !!! is that a dirty word here??? ;D There's only a couple of us that fly C/line.

Is somebody producing a kit of the Mercury Crusader in the USA ? If not I can supply a schematic drawing, (there were no fullsize drawings in the kit) a fullsize sheet of parts, and a canopy, if anyone is interested!
