Such a beautiful plane. Can I assume that its performance didn't blow your dress up?
-
I haven't heard of a bad Crossfire. Bob's designs are always good. But all airplanes are at the mercy of the builder.

I'm starting the rumor that there will soon be a NEW S6B to chase the MC72...

Or maybe something else from that era. I have to choose a airplane I can stand the battery up.

"It fly's well ask Will DeMauro"
It fly's better than well!!! I never got into a plane so fast in my life. I scored 518.5 with no AP points in just my 5th flight on that plane and I had only the second 40 point landing in my life on that flight!!! When I go to STL Sparky breaks out his best stuff for me to fly!!! Thank you again!!!

Yeah, he took to that plane real quick! And remember, he was being careful with it when he scored that 518.5!

B-24 Liberator, nice tall fuse one that one. ;D

How about a Gee Bee? The Wedell-Williams is on my bucket list someday.

Here's the Gee Bee.
I plan on building a Mystery Ship. I had and built the R/C kit by the late Fred Reese. I had a few of his kits.
The Glimore is fine also, I have R/C plans for the 80" one someplace. Might be bigger than 80"?

Doesn't look like it's going to sell anyway.

That's why its so cheap.

I'd be tempted to bid on an Electric Stunter of this quality but alas, I live on the east coast.
Your local market for something as special as this has to be limited.

A member here drove from Ohio for the last one I sold.

1500 I think is reasonable.
200 in wood horns and hardware
200 in paint and sand paper
200 in electronics
6 batteries at 60.00 each is 360
so over 1000 in cost

It's also a tough time of year now right before Christmas, not too many people with extra dollars floating around.
As a side not here I did make a 650 mile round trip just a few weeks ago to pick up a model that I purchased through Ebay. For the right deal traveling to pickup a model to insure it's safe delivery without damage is not out of the question, at least for an addict like myself. ;D

If you think that price is too high. Look at the Yatsenko planes ready to fly or even the so called kits. Better yet, sit down yourself and figure up the cost in materials, wood, motor/engine, finish and all the other related stuff to get it flying. If I had the cash that would be a bargain for me.

Hey! Don't be posting stuff like this. I told the wife this was an inexpensive hobby! If she sees this, I'm sunk. HB~>

What's wrong with giving dollar bills to poor undernourished young ladies? It could be considered charity.

Sparky,
If you were a one tank trip from Ohio......Love that Crossfire, a ready to go ship from a world class modeler.

No one wants it so I will probably pull it and sell it in the summer for more money
