To much weight below the airplane.   You need to get it to hang straight down from the lead outs while you hole it up and looking at it from the front.   Put the battery on top of the wing and you will see the opposite of what you have  now.   Is there someway you can put the battery in front of the leading edge between the motor and leading edge.    If you have straight wings warping is the last resort.

What Dr. John said. I'd try to fit the battery into the wing spanwise, between the LE & spars, with covers over top & bottom...one side hinged...I'd hinge the top one, so I wouldn't have to flip the plane over to change batteries. Keep the wing straight, and get the vertical CG on the leadouts. You might need to remove tipweight from the outboard tip or even put some on the inboard tip. Just remember that trim and power is more important than weight.  #^ Steve

How about cutting a slot in front of the wing and sliding it in parallel to the leading edge?

I didn't suggest that you wouldn't need tipweight, only that you might not need tipweight, and that it might be on either tip... H^^ Steve
