Was at Hobby R/C yesterday and was shown this engine. I believe it was NIB, as it was in a plastic case . It even had the wrench.
They didn't say if it was for sale, but worth asking if you are acollector. If someone is interested the phone number is (317) 359-6242, ask for Barb.

There is an old time hobby shop in Grand Prairie, Texas called Wild Bill's Hobby Shop. I was in there recently and he had a brand new never run Cox .15 with the red and blue case. I think that his asking price was $150. I took in an old Sportsman .15 that I got over 50 years ago from some kid back in Jr. High school but he was not interested in purchasing it. I have only had it on a Jr. Flight Streak back in High School. It still has good compression but is probably not worth much since it is in fairly rough condition. It appears that someone, maybe me, tried to take the back plate off with some pliers. I will never use it I know. And none of my G-kids are interested in G-Pa's toy airplanes.

I received one of those as a birthday present when they were $7.95. It was my biggest engine to date. I didn't treat it very well. I would like to have another try. But not for $150.
Within a year, Cox came out with the TeeDee series and never built a big reed valve engine again.
I did get in the air on an Ambroid Whipsaw and a "Big Gem", which was my own scaled-up verstion of the .020 Little Gem.
