Title: coroplast glue?

What would be the best way to glue ply or balsa to coroplast?

just trying something and thought it might be fyn.  Will post more if this liiks like anything.

Hi Bob ,On Dark side models contact is the glue of choice,You still need to rough up the mating surfaces with 220 or 180 grit.Regards , Noel.

  I picked up some core plast at a sign shop and have used Duco, carpenter glue, epoxy and slow C A on it and they all worked.
 When I got the c/plast I asked the guy there what kind of glue to use and was told that all these work, HOWEVER your mileage may vary, so check first, and please don't shoot the messenger...

  I have seen some that seemed to be slick also and these glues might not work...

The ET-1s were all assembled with hot-melt glue.  No prep necessary.  I suspect that ZAP Goo would work as well or better.

US Aircore, the fold up coroplast RC airplane people, always recommended solvent based contact cement. Water based latex contact cement would let go after only a short time.

Me I use plumbers or automotive goop for the structure joints such as internal fuse supports, I like Gorilla glue for constructing the spar and gluing same into the wing, for the trailing edge I like to use the flash and zap technique, I flash the glue surfaces with a propane torch, then apply "Dots" of medium zap, clamp in place and walk away for 24hrs.
