Very cool, that is very nice to see . y1

And this gives an idea...whenever any C/L club has a contest we should be calling the local news people and inviting them out. It's a FREE way to get some exposure to the hobby, hopefully gain a few newcomers and maybe even some more "retreads". ;D

There is no help in the dressing format for Dan.  Dan is what Dan is.  Good man and a great family.

This is rather remarkable; a rare happening.  Can you explain to me why clubs do not do this as a routine matter?  Contest publicity should be so common and universal that we would see no need to post or remark on it.  HB~>

We have often gotten press coverage but we really have to work at it.  Get to know one of the reporters well.  Give him a free lunch while at the field.  Positive actions often create other positive reactions.

I have a note in to someone I know at our local paper to try and get coverage for the Memphis Stunt Classic.
Lou had it done a few times before.

If it happens I will post a link.

I know where to start James!!!

"I really do my own stunts!"

Yeah, like kneeling, and bending!   Also I remember getting beat over the head to pay attention to the flight order when I was younger.  Fast forward to that weekend it was ME keeping him on task!

On the serious, that uniform has been carefully put together over the years.  My flight suit is pretty much the same, though I prefer shorts.  Cargo shorts preferably to hold the multitude of paperwork when flying contests with 3+ events in a day.  I also never really liked wearing hats.  FF contest I trade running shoes for hiking boots.  The plains of colorado have some evil plant that has seeds shaped like arrows.  They almost take skin with them when you pull them out of your feet, so leather footwear is a must.
