Will if David wants to bring the carrier deck and planes they are more than welcome too

Just a reminder, if you fly control line and don't have any plans this Saturday, the RDRC club in Youngsvill NC is holding their first control line event. They have 4 circles cut with 2 that have paved take off pads. If it turns out to be anything like their Blast from the Past event it should be fun, The weather is forcast to be nice temps in the mid 50's....Gene

We had a great turnout go our first event for a fun fly 43 register pilots thanks for every one that attended and to John Tate great idea it happen and Raleigh Durham Radio Control club
-
This was a great event for control line flyers. The RCDC club has a really good flying facility. Fun was had by all that attended flying model airplanes, eating good food, and meeting up with old flying partners again. The control line circles were nicely mowed and laid out. I give these guys an A+ and a outstanding job of planning and preparing this event. I look forward to their vintage RC event in the spring and will bring some vintage control line planes to fly. Hope to see you all again.
-
A++ for the RDRC guys first controline event! The 4 circles were great as well as the weather too. Thanks to Tom Weedman for helping some of the new guys with their models to get flying. I can only see this event getting larger every year. Looking forward to attending next year.....Gene

I had a great time at the RDRC event yesterday! It was nice to see some of my old Combat flying friends that I had not seen for probably 30 years. That certainly made the trip from Richmond well worth it. It could have been warmer with less wind, but there was still a lot of flying going on. The gentleman flying the pattern in the wheelchair stole the show for me. Makes me appreciate life much more than I did before I saw what he was able to do with his. God bless him.
Hope this will happen again next year. Maybe some people will bring some of their old stuff to sell. Looking forward to another one. Nice place to fly. Watch out for the Combat guys next year........

The weatherman, (Accu Weather), is forecasting a beautiful weekend with early morning temps around 32 on Saturday and in the 20's early Sunday morning. Afternoon temps are projected to be in the mid 50's. Obviously multi layers of clothing are suggested that can be removed as the days get warmer. Almost looks like a repeat of last years weather......Gene

I had a Great Time this past weekend!! Sorry it was over so soon.
I got to meet and watch a lot a Great Flyers and Flying.
Glad to see that we started with 4 circles and added 2 more as the need became necessary to accommodate Carrier and 1/2 A flying.
So many experienced pilots and friends made this Fun Fly a weekend to remember.
