Title: Control Line F-4
Post by: Norm Faith Jr. on December 27, 2010, 08:11:40 PM
This little profile showed up at our club's Christmas Party. The owner said he got it off of the internet. He said a DAV builds them and other models to supplement his income. This one had never been flown. I imagined my OS.10 on it.

I'm going to make a WAG that the cg on that delta wing will be an inch behind where the bellcrank mount is located. If you leave the nose that long you will need to put a ton of lead in the tail.

Hi Bob, Joe Bowman said about the same thing when he had it in his hands. The first thing I noticed was the "stabilator" and the amount of movement, way too much. The nose looked as if it could be shortened without much trouble. Also, I believe Joe thought the lead outs were in the wrong position. I told the club member that bought it, that with a few changes it just might be fun to fly.
