I feel your pain Steve, I've also waited weeks and weeks for clc to respond/fill an order. At that time it seems Jim was traveling for a contest, and as stated above, he does also have a full time job. His products are first rate, and he seems to be a very honest businessman. Although it's frustrating, give him a little slack at this point.
On a broader note; our hobby is now very dependent on small "cottage industries" such as clc. These business for the most part are small, understaffed, and not really profitable. I would venture to guess that when you factor in the "sweat" that is invested, they return not much more than minimum wage. People such as Jim are in it for the love of the hobby, not the $.
I'm currently undergoing a very similar situation with another of our businesses. I've been trying for over a month to get some stuff with no luck, and very little communication back. Oh well. I don't know either of the business owners involved, but hear they are first rate guys, and I'm sure they are. Again, I feel your pain, and I hope you'll be patient.
