The PC Flyers are happy to announce that we have voted to make a donation to the F2b team. We voted to donate $250.00 from club funds. We then switched and put on our Golden State Stunt Championships hats, and voted to make a matching donation from those funds; making a total donation of $500.00.
The trip to represent the USA is expensive, and done mostly out of pocket. While we know this amount is small, we hope it helps the team somewhat.
As the CD for the GSSC, I want to thank all the attendees! Without their generosity, making the matching donation would not be possible. Every year since the PC Flyers took the event over, we have managed to finish slightly in the black. And a good part of the income is from donations. Those donations help greatly with the cost of the awards, and being able to provide a hot lunch cooked on site. They also have made possible the small reserve that makes us comfortable to make this donation. So again, thank you all who come the GSSC and are so generous!
And lastly, I hope there are some other groups and or individuals who are able and willing to join us in helping the World Team. I know they are going to do us proud.
