Here is a couple shots from today. The airplane looks good in the air. I hope to have this all trimmed out by this Monday. Working everyday. Its so close.

Looks good. I'd imagine it presents well in the air. Sure is a big plane.

Nice! GREAT looking model, and I really like the added details. The PA logo made to look like the Rolls Royce Merlin logo is a way cool touch! y1

Very nice model, and I'm sure it flies well. The Conti paint scheme is rather
smart; it looks like a lot of work.
I've wondered about a piped ship without the tall fuselage and shoulder wing,
making it possible to get more of a "Continental" or "Cobra" or "Roadrunner"
look. I think it can be done, with the wing built as take off panels, with a special
shaped spar that would clear the pipe..
A lot of trouble of course, for a dubious goal. But still, it would be interesting to
see the beautiful old classic ships with the long narrow fuselages, actually powered
by modern piped engines..

It needs some trim. But it is fine.
