Nothing new.  The past two years have drained me as for building.  I have only recently got back to working on my Novi IV (started it TWO years ago) so I will probably start off the year with the old one (4 years old) and hope I get the new one done before the year is out.

I am finishing a new and super  light (for me) profile Cardinal for this season. Then its on to either my Ares kit, or a Cardinlal Evolution from plans. I will probably be staying in intermediate class this year, actually, if I get out of the intermediate basement, I'll be doing good. I hope to go to the Sig contest, and maybe the Nats, just to check it out. Gotta see how the summer works out for the job. Last summer we got hammered and were on OT during the nicest part of the summer.

First contest around here is the Dallas P 40/Flite Streak stunt contest next Sunday the 19th. Weather can be very poor but as for now looks good.
There are also some carrier events as I recall.
If I am lucky, my P 47D entry for the profile 40 event will post. Not as nice as Roberts for sure but should be competitive. The photo shows an LA 46 mounted up front but a Leonard Neumann FP 40 pulls it just as well. It's a big airplane, 58" span, thick airfoil.
Please repair all divots

Neat Jug, I like the machine gun barrels. And I am a sucker for Invasion stripes.

Looking good, Jim!
I am building a P-47 razorback to maybe be included in the Warbird series.  Using the original Warbird wing, new tips, and the fuselage is based off the Zero.  Gonna try a B-40, but have tha LA 46 just in case.  ;D
Let us know how you fare next weekend!
