Contest at Topeka Kansas Results
« on: May 27, 2007, 11:30:31 PM »
Had a great 2 days at Topeka. Threatened rain both days, but got lucky with only a couple of brief light showers and mild breeze. I have posted the contest results at the Contest Results forum

Was very glad to see Keith at the TOPCLASS meet.  It looked like he was having too much fun between the little rain drops we had every so often.  Later,  DOC Holliday

As usual Mr Clean (aka William Crane) just gets in in the back ground.  Jim Lee always has a good contest, of course he has a great club of members behind him.  DOC Holliday

Hey Keith; It was great talking with you in Topeka. You to Doc.  y1  It was a great contest as the weather on sunday was about perfect outside of that one little shower that came through.

The weather really worked out well.  The temps weren't too bad and the overcast morning and light breezes made for near perfect air.  The parks dept and the club did an excellent job preparing the field.  Aside from soggy shoes from the saturated grass, everything was nearly ideal.  As usual it was a very enjoyable contest.  It would have been nice to see more participation, but that was likely due to the poor weather forecast.
