Bravo Uncle Jimby!!!!!

I was predicting this outcome after seeing the first pics of that thing.  Absolutely breathtaking!

Now make it do its stuff and come back with one of those wooden wall hangy Plaque thingies for good measure!

Would really be neat to see an article detailing his building/finishing techniques....(hint, hint, hint!)

Hmmm, Scott.  Be careful what you ask for.  I can vouch for the fact that the Democrat's "Squad" commentary the other day had nothing on Uncle Jimby from time to time when it came to discussing this particular finishing process!  Suffice to say I don't plan on trying to do something like it in my lifetime!!!!  Let's just say perseverance was the watchword!

BTW:   Thanks for all the generous comments.  It goes without saying that what one’s peers say means the most; at least to me. 👍

Outstanding effort Jimby.

I remember seeing just the wings and they were art works.

Its always funny to read people wanting to see a finishing article.
Sure you can know the basic elements that go into the finish system.. anyome can USE those same products.
What seperates Jimby from the pack cannot be taught.. this level of prefection starts WELL before the final clear.

The commitment to perfection in the building element is just another example of what it takes. Dilligence, every part being given 100% attention to make as close to perfect as possible.

The skill of the artists hand .. this will be hidden information in any finishing article and its 70% of the secret!!

It deserves full applause and every accolade he gets.

Is this the first Concours winner that had Vgs?
