This past weekend scale flyers competed to represent the U.S. at the FAI Scale World Championships and I think we should all congratulate the top three finishers , Dale Campbell, Chuck Snyder and Richard Schneider for their performance and wish them the very best as they go forward to represent the US.
Like stunt, competing in scale, at this level, is a demanding enterprise that requires time and dedication and effort. So, Well done guys!
I felt this news should be a part of the main forum and not just on the scale forum (where I saw the results) so more members would see it.

The rest of the competitors should get a pat on the back too. The effort that each person put into their plane is apparent. Fantastic pics.

And I thought the stunt guys were getting old. Doesn't look like there is a person in the photos under 70

Now I see where one of our better racing pit men went to. Unless we find some way to interest kids into building, we will not see them. Congrats to the team. DOC Hollida
